Everyone seems to love their toys and possessions more than they love other people.
So why don’t we just come out and say it more often and stop fooling ourselves. We may as well be honest with our misguided greedy minds that have become so warped by obtaining “stuff”. The next time you buy a new car, I think it would be humorous to walk into house and yell out, “hey kids, we’re home”. And if you ever get into an argument with your significant other, you can tell them the truth, which is that you don’t love them, you love your car. You would rather fill the void in life with things that do not fight back or take time to grow in a relationship with. Why would you?
Besides, you are probably such a great person that you have no problems to work on anyways, so you may as well focus more time on obtaining more stuff. Keep loving and praising your achievements and possessions, as I’m sure they will come back to help you when your life is finished.
There is a very interesting revolutionary synthesizer type product that was recently invented that apparently is a computer intelligent surface that allows for multiple sources to place different shaped objects on top of it to shape and form music. I have placed a video below as well as a link to the official web site for this new “reactable” technology. I found this to be pretty damn cool and am sure that you will be hearing a lot about this new music tool. I also read a recent blog that was saying that it already caught the eye of Bjork for her future projects. What a surprise, something new comes out, and the big names in music are the first ones to jump on it and exploit it to the death. I’m sure I will regret even writing about this when it becomes as brand name as Sony, but either way, it is pretty interesting and cool to watch.
Robert Nesta Marley (AKA Bob Marley) was born in Jamaica on February 6, 1945, and sadly passed away from a cancerous brain tumor in Florida on May 11, 1981 (He was only 36). Bob Marley was a revolutionary musician and a history changing icon that will live on way past forever. His music has united millions and remained an inspiration and encouragement for people to do the right things no matter what circumstances have to say about it. For those of you who do not know, his band was called “The Wailers” and he before Bob was popular for his reggae music styles, he was making ska music all the way back in the 60’s.
Below is my video of the week. Enjoy and make sure if you are one of those people who thinks the Bob Marley compilation entitled “Legend” contains the only brilliant works from him, you need to go seek out the hundreds of other masterpieces he made during his life here.
Here is my favorite video of the week, which features a live performance of the song “light at the end” from the band F-Minus. If anyone knows these guys, get us an interview yeah?
