I know that these historians and archaeologists have made concrete discoveries for several centuries that prove certain historical events, cultures, wars, etc. But am I the only one who gets the feeling that we really don’t know as much about world history as we think we do? I mean, you hear these people rattle of the entire history of the world as if every single book or story is factual. Nonsense. Think about how we argue even about today’s current events and how we bend the truth even in our daily lives or resumes. Be realistic…do you actually think that our perception of history is even close to accurate? Regardless of peoples religion, we can barely even prove our own “facts” about history and we definitely don’t know what tomorrow brings. I think it is time to accept the fact that we know less about the actual details in history than we pretend to.
Educated guesses. We can’t even save our own people from natural disasters and we claim to be “experts” about where life has been and how every people group came about. Arrogant.

intersting to think of it in terms of points and distance .
Point a Truth
Point b Told
Distance of points equals timeline
longer the line greater the arc
so with your idea warpage of history and truth over time could be staggering.
as you noted with instant media its short timeline an we know its distorted
